The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chloe Can’t Hide – Chelsea Faces Frenemy in Showdown

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is playing a fool’s game on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Hiding out in one of her former doctor’s homes, as aided by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), hasn’t helped to protect her. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will move Heaven, Hades and whatever plot lines are necessary to finally locate her frenemy this summer.

Savvy Y&R fans know that Chloe’s ongoing appearances clearly indicate that a future showdown is approaching. Oh, the writing staff surely will stretch this drama out through August, when Greg Rikaart (Kevin) departs the cast. And in so doing, a final battle between former friends, now enemies (thus the cheeky frenemy mashup term) will take place.

Some fans liked ‘Chadam’ and some didn’t. With whatever their feelings were, Chelsea loved the twice dead man very deeply and bore his child, Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). Of course Adam (formerly played by Justin Hartley, Michael Muhney and Chris Engen) could still be alive. But that matter isn’t likely to play out until the current storyline is resolved, or the building drama bleeds into Adam’s resurrection.

The last time viewers saw Chloe was a few weeks ago. She appeared in one of Victor’s daytime recollections. He recalled events that took place while he was tellingly gone from Genoa City.

Victor apparently tracked Chloe down in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Then he gave her plenty of loose cash and seemingly told her to disappear. As viewers now know, the ‘Moustache’ actually arranged for Chloe to stay at the home of Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez).

Dr. Harris has been revealed as the medical, uh, professional who Victor paid to authorize Chloe’s release from a secured facility. That was done so she could help the ‘Black Knight’ frame Adam (then played by Hartley).

Chelsea and Nick (Joshua Morrow) have already located the good doctor’s house where Chloe was staying. The trail is hot and Chelsea won’t quit until she finds her husband’s perceived killer. Yes, a summer showdown is currently being telegraphed by Y&R.
