The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chemistry Bubbling Between Abby and Scott – Rivalry Keeps Relationship Option Open

Victor (Eric Braeden) likes the team of rivals concept on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He believes that Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Scott (Daniel Hall) battling against each other within the walls of Newman Enterprises is healthy. Whether their inter-divisional competition will also spark a relationship is intriguing.

Any viewer can easily see the potential for ‘Scabby’ to form. What, contrarians think ‘At’ is better?

Hall basically assumed Steve Burton’s (Dylan) cast slot earlier this year. Then Y&R quickly wrote Scott into Sharon’s (Sharon Case) world as well. Yes, that counted as a swap out.

Considering the short length of time that ‘Shott’ has been a couple, it can’t be said that this duo is cemented in Genoa City lore. While Scott doesn’t seem the type to impulsively throw Sharon overboard, he could easily act on impulse and give Abby a kiss at any time. There’s no denying her model appeal.

Of course Abby’s impetuous nature is legendary. However, she had settled into her first mature relationship with Ben (Sean Carrigan) until the actor who played him went to recurring status. Since Carrigan still appears on the cast list, he can always return. But a reunion with Abby doesn’t seem to be in the cards even if that happens.

Abby outwardly claims that she has no interest in Scott. However, she’s the one who suddenly decided that she had never actually loved Ben and ended ‘Stabby’. That purposeful storyline development enabled Carrigan’s departure. Abby’s nature made that pushed plot point somewhat plausible.

While she has made herself into a committed business woman, Abby still doesn’t possess the Grade A acumen that her father does. Neither does Scott, who still purports himself as a journalist, which is a subjective term among all readers who ever digested anyone’s words. By the way, do you the reader prefer milk or sugar with yours?

One would think at some point a pressed situation will lend itself to Abby and Scott forwarding some type of romantic gesture. From that moment forward there may be more. As of now Y&R fans are purely feeling the buildup.
