The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Opened the Door – Juliet's Actions Less Than His Mess

Cane (Daniel Goddard) walked in the bad part of town on ‘The Young and the Restless’. No, that wasn’t in Genoa City’s seedy section that’s rarely shown. Instead, Mr. Ashby sewed the seeds of discord through his own reckless actions in Japan. Now, no matter what is revealed about Juliet (Laur Allen), Cane remains mostly to blame for the situation he finds himself in.

The letters being touched on the keyboard underneath this scribe’s fingers project logic not emotion. This feature doesn’t even need to dissect the open and shut case involving the DARE commercial shoot in Los Angeles, where Cane was 100 percent guilty. Instead, all readers are simply being asked to reflect on the night in question in Tokyo.

Y&R Star Daniel Goddard News And Updates

Assume the worst about Juliet for a moment. She spiked the first drink Cane had, as part of an overall strategy to ingrain herself in his life. That seems like a stretch, but Cane needs everyone to believe something along those lines in order to shift blame from himself.

He constantly promoted himself as a hard worker. The man who was carrying Brash and Sassy on his back when Jill (Jess Walton) owned the company, while Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) were perpetually auditioning for the ‘Dating Game’.

Wait a minute, or two. If Cane was Mr. Wonderful worker, why did he act so insecurely when meeting with Mr. Sato (Richard Narita)? Separately, why was Narita’s character persuaded to agree to the deal? Ah yes, Juliet saved Cane’s bacon and the deal itself.

The oafish manner in which Cane bowed to Sato-san (as he constantly called him) was ridiculous. Then, after the deal with finalized, Cane embraced the Japanese retail store mogul with a so-called bro-hug? What a goof.

Regardless of what proves true, half-true or whatever, Cane’s amateurish actions during the sit-down with Sato and his subsequent frat boy, right side up keg stand swizzles led directly to Juliet’s current condition.

Proof that the above analysis is apparently spot on can be seen in Cane’s ongoing denials. He’s pointed all of his fingers and toes at Juliet, while portraying himself as the victim. Hey Cane, you are the problem!

And again, we haven’t even addressed how Cane’s actions killed Lily’s (Christel Khalil) modeling comeback in Los Angeles. Who knows what he’ll say after that leftover firecracker explodes.
