The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Needs To Be a Real Man – Juliet Must Become a Lady

Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Juliet (Laur Allen) must improve on ‘The Young and the Restless’. The soon-to-be parents of a child they created need to stop behaving like brats and embrace the responsibility their actions created.

Sexists would purposely choose to only criticize either person. But those man-haters are as wrong as Juliet. And those woman-haters are as wrong as Cane.

Y&R Star Daniel Goddard News And Updates

Some will claim to be violently offended that Cane was referenced first in the preceding paragraph. But consider Juliet’s lie about harassment and her seemingly having taken advantage of a person who was radically inebriated.

Others will choose to solely slam Juliet. Hey, Cane is married and it appears as though he’s at least 10 years older than Miss Helton. He should have known better based purely on the chronological point. Yes sexists, it’s the length of time one has been alive that lends itself to wisdom, not what your gender is.

So why the emphasis on the man-woman issue? For all reactionary minds, the letter M comes before the letter w in the alphabet. That’s why man was placed before woman in the first sentence. This point of logic was also specifically injected here in order to setup what follows.

Cane and Juliet are human beings. People make mistakes and should be offered time to come to grips with the consequences of their actions. However, at some point responsible individuals accept reality and deal with it. They don’t remain sidetracked by emotional points indefinitely unless they are self-centered.

The paternity results were just revealed. A few days isn’t enough time for anyone to have rebalanced reality. But during the next two trimesters Cane and Juliet must find ways to get along with each other and then bring their child into the world with love.

Lily (Christel Khalil), above all others, is offering a generous response to an impossibly difficult situation. She’s acknowledged her own past indiscretion, continued to support her husband and, most importantly, is thinking of the best interests of the baby. Cane and Juliet would be wise to keep her fully involved.
