The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Can’t Confirm Secret – Juliet’s Story Likely Unprovable

Cane (Daniel Goddard) was stunned by Juliet’s (Laur Allen) revelation on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He honestly had no idea what she was talking about when he sought her out at the Genoa City Athletic Club. But the secret she referenced seems hard to prove as well.

Of course Cane will be hoping that Juliet isn’t pregnant. That potential reality and a DNA test would confirm whether what she told him is true. As he just recently met this woman, there’s no way for Cane to know if she’s exaggerating for a business-related reason. Is this potentially marriage- and life-altering tidbit part of a larger game?

Juliet appeared to be a major asset in Tokyo, Japan. Cane’s language barrier wasn’t a major issue, but his misunderstanding of the culture led to a bizarre bro-hug of Sato-san (Richard Narita) that nearly blew the proposed business deal. Thankfully Juliet interceded, Cane offered a sincere apology and Brash and Sassy became the exclusive distributor of men’s products for Sato’s stores in that region of the world.

However, 10 sake bombs were later downed in celebration. Cane should have sang bad karaoke songs instead. But he didn’t and had to be helped to his hotel room. The rest was history, or so Juliet thought.

Juliet appears to believe that Cane couldn’t have forgotten what happened, but he obviously did. It’s understandable that he’s confused because Juliet previously said that she merely put him to bed and was aside of him the next morning because she also drank too much. Yet that didn’t seem to be the case the night before.

Cane went to the GCAC to tell Juliet that her interview had gone well, but Vickie (Amelia Heinle) rejected her application for Asian division head. He never expected Miss Helton to respond by saying she’d keep their secret, which involved a deeply personal detail. Now that she has Cane must wonder if Juliet is attempting to use a real, or invented situation to gain a prime professional position?
