‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Cane and Victoria Vie For Brash and Sassy – Billy Cut Out?

Jill (Jess Walton) wants to raise capital quickly on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She needs to do so in order to buy Jack’s (Peter Bergman) recently obtained shares of Fenmore’s.

While Jill has offered Cane (Daniel Goddard), Vickie (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) an equal three-way option to buy her out of Brash and Sassy, two in that trio are eying another course.And, if either Cane or Vickie becomes sole owner will Billy be left out?

Interestingly, Jill is assuming that Jack will accept whatever offer she makes for his 49 percent share in her family company.

She’s convinced herself that Lauren (Tracey Bregman) disrespected her by first pursuing a silent investor and then making a deal with Jack in order to infuse Fenmore’s with needed cash.

Lauren’s inclusion of Eric Forrester (John McCook) in her proceedings, to help head-fake Jack into accepting lesser terms irked Jill as well.

Cane was shown on the phone, apparently asking his broker to divest him of all holdings so he could pursue Jill’s offer. However, he later told Billy that within a year he planned to push him out, which could mean that’s about to happen now.

Vickie initially planned to purchase her one-third share and told Victor (Eric Braeden) as much. He admonished his daughter, telling her that Brash and Sassy was her baby and that she should buy the entire thing.

While she cares for all involved, Jill’s main focus is overtaking her sister’s share percentage of Fenmore’s. Whether she’ll inform whatever two parties are left out of a one-person buy-in plan is yet to be known. But it’s at least likely that Jill might accept whatever offer is best, be it from Cane or Vickie.

One last point must be made as well; never bet against Billy. While he doesn’t seem motivated to become sole owner, he might propose partnering with Vickie in order to shut Cane out. Doing so would surely promote his personal plans.
