Billy (Jason Thompson) took Jack’s (Peter Bergman) insults for a long time on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Yes, he wronged his brother and on that issue there was no debate, or reprisal for words said. But when it comes to the survival of Brash and Sassy, Billy has begun fighting Jack by using a new weapon.
So Brash and Sassy recently received notice that its rent would be upped by 25 percent. Jack made that decision after learning that Vickie (Amelia Heinle) was having financial difficulties.
Y&R Star Jason Thompson News And Updates
Jack had been working with Ben (Ben Hermes), who had offered Vickie a bridge loan. Vickie discovered the Ben was in cahoots with Cane (Daniel Goddard). That ended her business relationship and any potential personal connection with Mr. Hochman, while also opening a door to Neil (Kristoff St. John).
The Hamilton-Winters’ group’s infusion of cash allows Brash and Sassy to remain viable. The new deal Vickie was able to make also allows Billy a chance to regain his footing.
By wooing Dina (Marla Adams), Billy began playing a multilevel game. He’s seeking inside information from a source that isn’t fully functioning due to undiagnosed issues. Whether Dina actually has dementia, or something less serious is yet to be determined. With whatever her condition, Billy has no problem taking advantage of an opportunity.
Jack has often found and then used weak points to strike his real or imagined adversaries. He’ll be sure to turn red and make that famous pained face the instant he learns that his little brother manipulated Dina to gain information about a key Jabot project.

Yes, it’s soapy that Jabot would allow Brash and Sassy to rent space in its building. But that plot point is necessary to enable repeated interaction between various characters who work for both companies. What’s not fictional is sibling rivalry.
As some, or many (as this point isn’t measurable) Y&R fans know, battles between brothers, or sisters, or sisters and brothers are very real. Personality type drives human beings to behave like soulless creatures, to justify said actions and damage family brands. Obviously, Billy’s behavior isn’t really about business, just as Jack’s isn’t either.
