The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Plays Hardball – Fights Back Against Jack By Any Means Necessary

Billy (Jason Thompson) has vengeance on his mind on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He’s had enough of Jack’s (Peter Bergman) condescension and is putting a plan in place to fight back. Much like the elder Abbott, ‘Billy-boy’ will use any means necessary to achieve his current objective, to save Brash and Sassy while also defending Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

Dina (Marla Adams) returned to Genoa City with a protector on her arm. Graham (Max Shippee) has been covering a number of Dina’s senior moments. So Billy needed an opportunity while she was alone to obtain the information he needed about Jabot. That came and he did.

Jack played petty recently. He purposely upped Brash and Sassy’s rent by 25 percent, believing that doing so would force Vickie closer to the brink of bankruptcy. His scheme didn’t have wings, which dashed Jack’s main goal of smacking Billy back, again.

After the Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes) ploy was quickly exposed, Vickie and Neil (Kristoff St. John) made a deal. The Hamilton Winters Group provided the bridge loan Brash and Sassy needed to keep afloat. That’s right myopic Jack didn’t see HWG blocking his take-down plans.

Now Billy has been known to go to the well once too often. So Dina could always play Billy in the future. She’s already advised the son Jill (Jess Walton) had through John (Jerry Douglas) about her awareness of the Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) issue.

In the meantime ‘Smilin’ Jack’ will be none too happy about Billy’s actions. Of course he’ll blame his mother for allowing Billy to play her and vent to Phyllis, Gloria (Judith Chapman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Ravi (Abhi Sinha) about what happened. Yes, some boys never graduate from high school, although some girls never do either.

Dina’s pride has allowed her to be vulnerable. Yes, that trait was passed to Jack at birth and by example. Notice how one of mom and son’s links has been exposed through this nicely written Y&R storyline? Yes, all readers are seen as savvy viewers by this scribe.
