The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Alice Working For Zack – Mariah Is Sharon’s Secret Weapon, Cassie Ghost Returns?

Zack (Ryan Ashton) has been revealed as the local henchman of the criminal ring that’s invaded Genoa City on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck), who appeared to be the leader is actually his lieutenant. That point should prove fortuitous for Sharon (Sharon Case) as she attempts to rescue Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) sister Crystal (Morgan Obenreder).

Ashton’s character was initially projected as someone who would lengthen Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) backstory. Instead of the dating app leading into a longterm personal relationship with Victor’s (Eric Braeden) daughter, Zack may simply be a space-filler.

Y&R Star Sharon Case News And Updates 

As tenured viewers recall, Alice was an infamous persona who was created to introduce Cassidy (Camryn Grimes) in the 1990’s. Clatterbuck’s alter ego named that little girl after adopting her. Sharon felt compelled to give her daughter up for adoption, which took place before Case’s character existed on Y&R.

Many would likely agree that the Cassie arc ranks with the most memorable in this soap’s history. Grimes proved to arguably be the best child actor Y&R has ever employed. Her 2014 full-time return to the cast, as Cassie’s unknown twin sister Mariah, served to further viewer’s admiration for Grimes’ talent.

Alice doesn’t know anything about Mariah. Sharon now suspects Alice’s involvement in the illegal operation that’s using women in Genoa City. So it stands to reason that she will do whatever is necessary to restore justice.

The same type of psychological tactics that Victor (Eric Braeden) used against Sharon when Mariah first agreed to gaslight her should be kept in mind. Sharon and Scott (Daniel Hall) would be more likely to disarm Alice if they use Mariah’s look-a-like status at an opportune time.

Alice is obviously living well, which is a start contrast to her former life. She won’t give up the money goat easily.

Sharon was able to bring out the best in Alice, who agreed to relinquish her legal claim to Cassie, in the distant past. This time Sharon and Cassie’s sister will face a different demon that’s controlling Miss Johnson. An epic battle is sure to play out.
