The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Alice and Zack’s Link to Ring Confirmed – Sharon and Nick Together Again

Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck) and Zack (Ryan Ashton) are connected on ‘The Young and the Restless’. As viewers have suspected, both characters are involved in the criminal ring that apparently invaded Genoa City earlier this year.

Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) find themselves together again in this storyline that kisses the past. Longtime Y&R fans recalled Alice’s roll in Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) write-in to the show. All other viewers were provided with a handful of dialogue pages, where Alice, Sharon and Nick reminisced about the past.

With everyone up to speed, the currency of this building story makes all fans wonder why Clatterbuck’s character, in particular, was plucked from yesterday? The purposeful use of a somewhat ancient recurring character in this arc must have some unknown deeper meaning.

Is it possible that Alice is Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Crystal’s (Morgan Obenreder) mother? That would be an interesting link, as it could keep Clutterbuck’s character on the show for an extended period of time.

However, if Alice isn’t connected to Tessa, or Crystal then Sharon’s detective work seems likely to result in Miss Johnson leaving town, one way, or another. Alice would seem primed to bolt from town, or be caught and locked up. There should be no gray area resolution for someone of her ilk.

Zack’s tie to Alice is also intriguing. Is he serving as her digital henchman, or might Mr. Stinnett be a family member himself? The inclusion of his last name indicates that he could be a keeper for Abby (Melissa Ordway), until she learns that his dating app is a cover.

Whether the above scenario, with however it plays out, also results in the spark of a ‘Shick’ reunion is questionable. For whatever reasons, various Y&R writing staffs haven’t wanted Sharon and Nick to remarry.

Possibly ‘Shick’ fans are thrown meat through the variety of plot pairings that have been projected in the recent past. Memories of way back when are evoked, but they never result in a relationship reunion that leads to remarriage.

Sharon seems likely to put herself in danger again as she pursues justice for Crystal. That seems to be the type of prediction that would also spur Nick’s old-school protection of his original true love, with whatever that might result in this time.
