The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Abby Wants Scott’s Attention – Secret Agent and Heiress Destined for Romance?

Scott (Daniel Hall) has gotten under Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) skin on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She’s undeniably highly appealing, but whether he wants a relationship with the daughter of his boss is an open question. Following Abby’s past patterns, it’s already clear that Scott could become her next husband.

Victor (Eric Braeden) wisely assigned Scott to keep watch over Abby. It appears as though the ‘Moustache’ doesn’t know that his potential heir apparent formed an alliance with Jack (Peter Bergman). However, Victor does know that that Abby oddly wasn’t able to explain an unusual payment which was received from a company he wasn’t familiar with.

It’s natural to feel obligated to someone when he pays $10 million ransom, thereby securing your release from deranged lunatics who some in society want to wish away.

People like Victor help to rule the civilized part of the world. All who rail against his personality type appear unwilling, or unable to acknowledge that an alternative to Newman-esque capitalism wouldn’t be socialism. No, it’s the ideology that Scott and his friend faced.

Busy work is easily recognizable. That’s why Scott knows arranging Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) concert, shadowing the ‘Heiress’ and doing other similar things isn’t the best use of his talent. But has Mr. Grainger considered that Victor may soon assign him something substantial to handle?

The ‘Black Knight’ is actually King of Genoa City because he sees the world as a game of three-dimensional chess. When the time is right he’ll put Scott in position and expect him to push other pieces off the board.

As for Abby, she should have told her dad what she did with Jack and seek his forgiveness. Her start-up idea was intriguing, but should never have been pursued without Victor’s approval. And, she was wrong to partner with her uncle behind her dad’s back.

Y&R appears to have written Abby and Scott into the same storyline path to create the possibility of ‘Scabby’ as a couple. Tall, blonde, shagged-haired children with strong opinions might eventually result.
