The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Abby Primed For Fall – Zack’s A Threat!

Abby (Melissa Ordway) believes that she’s backing a new business on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Miss Newman also thinks that the owner of that incubator company is a potential longterm romantic interest. But Zack’s (Ryan Ashton) second face isn’t pretty.

Y&R viewers have been given a variety of circumstantial plot points that indicate Zack’s dating app is actually a cover. He appears to be the local head of an operation that is actually a criminal enterprise.

Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) sister Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) was revealed to be a poor soul. While the link between that abused young lady and Zack hasn’t been directly established, savvy soap thinking is leading to that conviction being held.

Victor (Eric Braeden) seemed mildly suspicious of Zack when Abby introduced the two men to each other at Newman Enterprises. Viewers don’t know if Victor is conducting a background check on Zack, or will.

Based on past history, it’s not a stretch to believe that Victor, or his team of private investigators could uncover Zack’s true dealings. But a different Newman employee might discover the truth as well.

Scott (Daniel Hall) has been assigned to head Newman’s new online media outlet, Hashtag. Hall’s character has already gone undercover and met with one of the women who’s working in the criminal organization that recently moved into Genoa City.

While Scott and Abby have developed a healthy workplace rivalry, neither person would be happy if an ugly fact about Zack’s app is revealed. The potential for major corporate damage looms, unless Abby, Victor or Scott gains needed information. Newman could then try to quietly extricate itself from the dating app, or try another approach.

Of course Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is often hiding somewhere with a digital recorder, or receives damaging information that is then streamed live on the ‘Hilary Hour’. Possibly, Newman Enterprises will be out in front of this story and have time to position itself as having uncovered and then exposed the criminal operation, again assuming that Zack’s company is that.

Victor’s recent gift to Hilary (meaning the Newman Towers’ garage debacle) might have earned him a GC Buzz flier. So Abby and the company she represents might have an opportunity to avoid an anticipated public relations disaster by taking control of this story.
