The Young and the Restless’ Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) has been chosen as the most missed character on the daytime soaps. Adam Newman was the son of the great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and their love/hate relationship is what really got fans reeled in.

The character of Adam Newman has been played by several different people. First being Chris Engen, then Michael Muhney and last but not least the gorgeous Justin Hartley. It’s a toss up of who the fans favorite was playing Adam when it comes to Michael Muhney and Justin Hartley. So Y&R viewers who was your favorite Adam Newman?

The character of Adam was killed off last year when Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) followed him to the cabin where he and his wife Chelsea (Melissa Egan) was planning their getaway after he escaped from being behind bars. Chloe shot Adam with a tranquilizer gun and left him to die. Shortly after we watched as the cabin burst into flames and now we are all awaiting the day that Chloe pays for her part in Adam’s death.

Adam Newman was a very valuable character on Y&R and fans are hoping that one day we will see him back. Which is very possible because no one stays dead long when it comes to the daytime soaps. Adam has already been brought back before after being presumed dead, so why not again, right?

Adam Newman definitely did shake up things in Genoa City. We never knew what to expect when he was around. This is one of the reasons he is the most missed character. We need him back to bring some excitement and unpredictability back to the show. Do you Y&R fans agree?
