Y&R’s Alum Miles Gaston Villanueva better known for the part he once played as Luca Santori recently was in a terrifying accident. He is thankful to be alive.
Miles Gaston Villanueva announced on social media that he was recently in a car accident. He posted a picture of his car and stated on Instagram “Sideswiped last night. All air bags deployed. Surprisingly, no major injuries. Be careful on the road.” We are very happy that he is okay. The car may not be, but he is and that’s all that is important.
Fans reacted to his post very quickly and was thankful as well that no one was hurt. Most of them read “So glad you’re okay!” Of course he is shaken up from the crash but luckily was able to walk away from it.
Being in a car accident is a very scary thing and we are blessed that he is still here with us. The car can be replaced but he can not! Y&R fans sure do miss him on the show causing chaos for “The Great Victor Newman” (Eric Braeden). With the new writer Sally Sussman taking over, maybe he will decide to come back and shake things up again.
Would you Y&R fans like to have Miles Gaston Villanueva back as Luca Santori on the show? Having him around definitely kept fans on their toes. We never knew what he was going to be up to next. Right now the show could use a little bit of that.
Miles Gaston Villanueva has been a busy man since he left Y&R with other shows. In 2017 he will be staring in a play along with Judith Light and Al Pacino at the Pasadena Playhouse called “God Looked Away.” So be sure to check that out if you get a chance.
