The Young and the Restless spoilers and comings and goings reveal that Greg Rikaart is leaving the CBS soap opera later this summer after playing the part of Kevin Fisher since 2003.
Here’s the kicker, according to an all new report from TV Line, it wasn’t Greg’s idea to leave The Young and the Restless. The website reveals, “Although reps for Y&R and Rikaart declined to comment, sources confirm that The Powers That Be opted not to renew Rikaart’s contract.”

As of right now it’s unclear how Kevin Fisher will be leaving Genoa City, and if the character will simply leave town or wind up killed off [rumor has it he won’t be in a body bag, but stranger things have happened]. Regardless, it will certainly be interesting to see how this all unravels.

Probably going to hire more teenagers..they bring on new characters that nobody really likes like Juliet ..and fire the ones who have been on the show for years…

I am not surprise they let go other good actor now his dad it stars to be good story line like I said all great actor they let go I DON,T no how the show going to last the way there going fired every one who are good at what there doing for all the crap you give them to read sometime you better think before you let go a good actor

I was tired of his and Chloe’s storyline but I do wish him the best of luck.
I have watched Y&R from day ONE and sad to say, it’s headed downhill…fast! What the heck is wrong with the “writers?” Kevin is such a great character..if they needed to dump someone, turn to Cain! They are making him a wuss! Or send Reed to JT…I have no interest in a teenage wannabe singer..especially when he can’t sing!
