Soap Opera Spy is thrilled to bring ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and ‘The Young and the Restless’ viewers some great news! CBS soap spoilers recently revealed that John McCook, who currently portrays the role of Eric Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful is scheduled to premiere in a special crossover episode on The Young and the Restless, along with Tracey Bregman, who portrays Lauren in Genoa City.
John McCook is preparing to bring his exciting character, Eric Forrester to Genoa City and is said to be reuniting with his old flame Lauren. This will be a moment that fans of both soap operas won’t want to miss.

The scenes these two will share is said to be heartwarming and something that viewers have been craving to see for such a very long time now. Fans are finally getting their wish.
If viewers will recall, back in the 1990’s, Lauren relocated to Los Angeles to become part of a bigger community and to enhance her career in the fashion industry.
A source with ‘Entertainment Weekly’ assures fans for both soaps that this cross-over episode is scheduled to air on CBS on Friday, January 27th, 2017. Their scenes will consist mostly of Eric checking up on his old flame, Lauren.

Considering that Eric is the CEO and founder of his own fashion company, Forrester Creations and Lauren is debating the prospect of taking advantage of an investment from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for her own fashion firm, their meeting will more than likely be one of a business nature not a personal one.
Of course, there is no word yet whether John McCook’s character of Eric Forrester will interact with any other characters in Genoa City but that doesn’t mean he won’t. That could be left to the element of surprise as we know always happens in Genoa City.
