Y&R’s star Jason Thompson is counting down the days until he and his wife Paloma Jonas bring their daughter into the world. They already share a son, Bowie Banjo, who is 15 months old and now can not wait to extend their family. Paloma is due in the middle of September, so their precious daughter is not far from being here. As we all know actors like to take some time off to enjoy their families which is totally understandable. However, fans shouldn’t worry that it may mean less of Billy Abbott in Genoa City. Whatever time he takes off to spend with his expanding family will not be noticeable with his alter ego’s screen time or affect the soap’s production.

Jason’s character Billy Abbott is in the middle of a major storyline. Billy and his brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) are just starting a major war between each other. Jack is trying to destroy the company Billy works for and Billy is going to fire back.
