The Young and the Restless (Y&R) alum Sean Carrigan announced that his new Netflix show has a title and release date. Season 1 of American Vandal will come out on Friday, September 15. The series centers around a high school act of violence that leads to the lead suspect being found innocent.
The Netflix series is described as a satirical true crime mystery that surrounds a high school act of violence that leads to the lead suspect being found innocent. A high school student spray paints a body part on a couple of dozen vehicles in the school parking lot. The student swears he is innocent and begs his mother to fight for him in court. A film maker tapes the whole thing and discovers the truth.

The series is a comedy series for people of all ages. Sean Carrigan alerted his followers to watch the show on Friday, September 15. The promo is for mature audiences only as it has mature subject matter.
Back in February, Sean left The Young and the Restless to film a new project on Netflix. The comedian played Dr. Ben Rayburn AKA Stitch. Many Y&R fans demand to know where Stitch has been as there was never any explanation about his whereabouts. One day he was a focal point of storylines, the next he was divorced from Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and no longer a member of the cast.
In addition to Carrigan’s Y&R role, he has appeared on shows such as Scrubs, Cold Case, House, Grey’s Anatomy, The Event, Hart of Dixie, and the movie, John Carter.
Sean is still listed as a cast member on The Young and the Restless. Many fans had hoped they would bring him back to pair him with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). At the time of this writing, Y&R has no plans to bring Sean Carrigan’s character on the canvas.
