The Young And Restless Spoilers: Dina Drops Shocking Bombshell On Ashley Abbott

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) manicured life will soon be turned upside down when Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) drops a news bomb on her snoopy daughter. But is Dina telling the truth, or sneakily spinning a story to keep Ashley’s curiosity at bay?

Ever since her return to Genoa City Dina has raised eyebrows and consternation, especially among her estranged family members. Young Ashley and her brother Jack (Peter Bergman) felt abandoned when an earlier version of Madame Mergeron chose the high life over raising them.

Here we are years later and Dina has waltzed back into town on business, and harboring hope that she can make things right with her her kids. Did I mention that she has a considerable hunk of (much younger) eye candy on her immaculately sleeved arm?

After some initial fireworks, Jack and Ashley grudgingly granted their mom an audience, and lo and behold they dropped their long-held hard feelings. Mostly. Ashley still has a bit of a grudge against her mom, but that hasn’t gotten in the way of her feeling protective about Dina where Graham, AKA Mr. Arm Candy, is concerned.

Is Graham (Max Shippee) after Dina’s considerable fortune? Is he blackmailing her, or holding inappropriate sway in her life? Ashley wants to expose the gray haired gent as a fraud, but is it really Dina who’s the fraud?

Viewers have speculated that a fatal illness, Alzheimer’s, or something much worse is the real reason that Dina wants to make amends with her family. There have been subtle signs that something is amiss with her health, but TPTB have played this storyline close to the vest. But viewers who are chomping at the bit to learn Dina’s secret won’t have much longer to wait!
