The Walking Dead (TWD) Season 8 Episode 2 Spoilers: What is going to happen in, The Damned? HERE!

“The Walking Dead” season 8, episode 2 is titled “The Damned.” The synopsis has been released, which indicates another action-packed episode. Find out everything that is known so far about what to expect.

AMC networks released the synopsis, which teases that Alexandria, Hilltop, and the Kingdom will work on unveiling their plan. Meanwhile, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) continues to fight. However, the leader is surprised when he sees someone familiar.

“The plan involving Alexandrians, Kingdommers, and Hilltoppers unfolds; as Rick continues to fight, he encounters a familiar face.”

In “The Walking Dead,” season 8, episode 2 spoilers reveal that Rick will continue his Negan-esque stance. This just confirms the theory that the two leaders are not as different as they think. However, Rick was one quality that makes him more likable… and less likely to survive. That is his humanity.

The familiar face in “TWD” could be just about everyone, including missing Alexandrian Heath (Corey Hawkins.) However, we are speculating that it is probably Father Gabriel’s (Seth Gilliam) head on a stick.

In the comics, this happens, except the head belongs to another character. After all, Gabriel is trapped alone with Negan. It will not end well, that’s for sure. Since they aren’t going anywhere, Negan will take his time and torture the priestly warrior.

There is also the possibility that Rick sees someone from Oceanside or even Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh.)

“The Walking Dead” season 8 spoilers hint that Jadis and the Scavengers could switch sides (yes, again.) Fans need to remember that Jadis doesn’t care about Rick and Negan’s war. What she cares about is survival and doing what is best for her people. That could change daily, even hourly, depending on who is winning the battle.

The same can be said for Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt.) He was all for “Team Negan” until Rick, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and the others showed up. When faced with guns, ammo and Rick’s countdown, Eugene suddenly changed his tune. However, it is too late. He made his choice and now he should have to live with the consequences.

The battle is just beginning. We know how it ends in the comic books, but will we see a similar conclusion in the television show?
