The ‘This Is Us’ Family Is Growing In Season 2

“This Is Us” family is growing as several cast members are moved to full-time status giving us a glimpse into what we might see for the upcoming season. The Pearson family ‘Big 3’ Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz), and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) younger counterparts now have more in common with each other than just playing the same character, they too are series regulars. We learned this just days after Alexandra Breckenridge (Sophie), and Jon Huertas (Miguel) became series regular.

“This Is Us” newly promoted to full-time cast members include, teenage Kevin (Logan Shroyer), teenage Kate (Hanna Zeile), teenage Randall (Niles Fitch), younger Kevin (Parker Bates), younger Kate (Mackenzie Hancsicsak), along with Annie Pearson (Faithe Herman), and Tess Pearson (Eris Baker) who plays Randall Pearson daughters.

Young Randall (Lonnie Chavis) due to contract obligations to the new Showtime comedy ‘White Famous’ will not carry the title of a series regular at this time. However, we will still see Lonnie Chavis continue his role as younger Randall on NBC “This Is Us.”

This only indicates that we will be spending some time in the past as the Pearson family grows and endures hardship. “This Is Us” Spoilers already tell us that Season 2 will reveal the truth around Jack’s death, as well as how Jack’s best friend Miguel becomes Rebecca’s second husband. We also know that the ‘Big 3’ are teenagers at the time of Jack’s passing. It will be a life-altering event that only continues to change and shape the Pearson family for years to come.
