ABC’s The Good Doctor is fast becoming one of the most popular shows on television.  Former Bates Motel actor Freddie Highmore is brilliant as Shaun Murphy, a young doctor with autism.

Synopsis of The Good Doctor season 1 episode 9 as per the ABC synopsis, “As part of St. Bonaventure hospital’s international humanitarian program, the team takes on the case of a young boy from the Congo who has severe congenital heart anomalies. Dr. Neil Melendez has doubts about the safety of the procedure, while Dr. Shaun Murphy works out the best course of action. Meanwhile, Murphy’s latest encounter with his neighbor Lea has him confused.”

The series stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, Antonia Thomas as Dr. Claire Browne, Nicholas Gonzalez as Dr. Neil Melendez, Chuku Modu as Dr. Jared Kalu, Beau Garrett as Jessica Preston, Hill Harper as Dr. Marcus Andrews, Richard Schiff as Dr. Aaron Glassman and Tamlyn Tomita as Allegra Aoki.

This episode of “The Good Doctor” airs Monday, November 27 (10:01-11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.
