The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Zende And Thomas Recasts Coming Soon?

Just how long can The Bold and the Beautiful claim to be all that when two of its hottest hunks are MIA? Not just one but two talented young actors left the CBS soap this month, but B&B looks ready to recast at least one of the roles. Which one?

When Rome Flynn (Zende) and Pierson Fode (Thomas) left the soap in September to try out new horizons, the Forrester man stock was seriously depleted. Is all that set to change?

The soap has put out a casting call for a character that sounds just like Zende. If the speculation is correct, we know there’ll be at least one hotshot designer back in L.A. that both Spectra and Forrester fashion houses can compete for.

As for a Thomas recast, the picture is a little less clear. A second casting notice was put out for another younger leading man, but the specs aren’t exactly sounding like a Thomas recast.

The order for a character named Chase, calls for a 20-year old who’s at least 5’10”. That’s a bit off the visuals of the last Thomas we came to know and love, but of course, there’s always a range of options on soaps, right?

For his part Fode left with his sense of humor intact, and indicated that a recast is always a possibility. The gorgeous actor noted on social media that, “At some point I will likely have to pass the baton of Thomas … to another hideous-looking guy … I hope my performance will haunt him for the rest of his life.” Yuk yuk!

So what’s up next for the handsome, younger leading men? Neither has spilled any beans about future roles just yet, but it’s a no-brainer that they’ll be unemployed for long. In fact they joked on Twitter that a buddy comedy is in their future.

As of today the venerable sudser had not made any official announcement on either role being recast.
