The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Sheila Targets Quinn – Epic Battle Unfolds

It all seemed to unfold too quickly on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Quinn (Rena Sofer) signed the divorce papers that Eric (John McCook) had Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) prepare. She agreed to leave her husband, home and career and was tearfully departing the resplendent Forrester mansion. Meanwhile Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) was having a sketch of herself created in a sapless hotel room while Charlie (Dick Christie) stood watching, befuddled and transfixed.

But viewers felt the twist as soon as that tearing sound was heard. Eric was testing his half-aged bride. Then, as soon as Pam (Alley Mills) told Charlie that the Forrester’s had reunited and he told Sheila, the true arc was revealed.

Eric opted to hold Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) fully responsible for what Quinn was equally responsible for. Eric has allowed himself to be taken in, again, by this enticing vixen. Sheila and many B&B personas agree on that point, which will allow her to have access to information.

Moving forward Sheila is certain to leverage any anti-Quinn intel that is or becomes available. The one-time Mrs. Forrester will use unlikely allies to attack the current Mrs. Forrester at every turn in Los Angeles.

Oh Quinn is no pushover, as ‘Upchuck’ (Quinn’s moniker for Charlie) has said. But Sofer’s character has never battled anyone like Sheila before, which means that the longterm outcome of this storyline can’t be exactly projected. A cheeky clue came when Quinn’s portrait morphed into Sheila’s, with outstanding visual and audio accompaniment schlock value applied tenfold.

Since Brown signed a one-year deal with the show that began in June, viewers can expect a series of plots to unfold into the early part of 2018. By the time Brown’s comeback is nearing it’s end, Sheila will either have realized her place within the frame in Eric’s house and heart, or she’ll be primed to return to Genoa City. That will be telegraphed by news of Brown’s contract extension or trade back to B&B’s parent show.
