The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Sally Spectra Faces Jail Time – Prison Twist In The Works?

Is Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) really designing a new prison-wear line? She could be if she’s sent to the pokey for stealing from the Forrester’s on, “The Bold and the Beautiful!” Aye caramba, how did Lucy, I mean Sally, get herself into this mess?

Hurricane Sally blew into L.A. determined to be the Next Big Thing: Spectra’s the name, fashion’s the game! But she didn’t imagine falling for the arch enemy, Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode), nor being pressured by her pushy aunt to steal designs from her new man. But Sally knew better, and now she’s about to learn the true meaning of copyright law!

Hope has done a bang-up job of portraying Sally 2.0, a job that lesser actresses might have shied away from. She’s the latter day incarnation of the original Sally Spectra, played by the incomparable Darlene Conley from 1988 to 2007.

Conley was a flame-haired force of nature, but Hope has done a tremendous job of both evoking Conley’s spirit, and creating her own spirited, underdog-heroine for a new generation to root for.

One thing that the Sally’s did not share however, was prison stripes. Rough and ready Spectra Fashions was originally built by five-fingering designs from the more refined Forrester Creations. But Sally the First never went to jail for her thievery. Will Sally the Second be as lucky?

Not if the current generation of bloodthirsty Forrester’s have their way! Fresh from being dumped first by his illicit flirt and then by his bride-to-be, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is full of vengeance and Sally is a convenient scapegoat for his anger and humiliation. If he can’t salvage his love life, he might as well go down trying to save the family biz!
