The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Dollar Bill’s Plan is Great – Sky Isn’t Limited To Spencer

‘Dollar Bill’ (Don Diamont) has a righteous plan on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Yes, detractors are outraged that the word righteous was used in the same sentence as Mr. Spencer’s. But emotionalists often, if not always fail to recognize the vision of great people.

Jobs, jobs, jobs. That’s what will be created as and after ‘Sky’ is built. Notice the declarative statement that was just made telegraphs a fait accompli.

Many white collars look down their nose at blue collar workers, who often embody character and honesty. But many who work with their hands will be the initial benefactors in Los Angeles as the Spencer skyscraper rises.

Then there will be the sizable number of professional positions that will be enabled by the existence of Bill’s realized dream. Working off the lead of a true capitalist, those suits and casual Friday guys and gals will help to extend the Spencer conglomerate across the United States and around the globe.

Oh, the Spectra brand will likely be eviscerated by that time. Maybe if that outfit (a cheeky fashion reference) is lucky Bill will afford Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and her ragtag (the rag trade, wink) staff the honor of working for him in some entry level capacity? Well, maybe not.

Bill Spencer, Jr. has followed in his father’s footsteps. Of course there are mellow minds that rejected both strong men, which thereby also exposes those types of individual’s calls for differences in the work world.

People who dislike the ‘Dollar Bill’s’ type claim that other voices deserve to be heard. But they actually only want to hear voices that agree with their philosophy of life. Ah, and so something else has been exposed.

Savvy soap fans know that people like Bill are actually no different than those who oppose him. Because those who oppose Bill’s personality type actually exhibit the same themselves, while vociferously claiming to be different. It’s their self-certain resoluteness that gives them away.

Sally is one of these people. She’s a fighter who is willing her family’s company in the present and hopefully into the future. Sally and Bill are similar.

Why is this storyline seen as great soap by this scribe? Because the vision of B&B’s writers have pitted comparable personality types against each other, using actors with solid chops.

It’s understood that this is just a theory and that some may disagree with the assessment. But the people who support Bill and the people who support Sally might just be standing on the same slant, looking at different angles.
