The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) through the years as had many intertwined relationships, where sisters fight over the same men and brothers fight for the affection from the same woman; but it has been a long time since we have seen an unsuspecting father vying for the affection of his wife with his eldest son.
B&B’s Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) became an obstacle for her husband, Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) older son, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) who feels he deserves control of the family business, that it is his legacy to continue; but when Quinn married Eric, it changed everything. Ridge, along with his son-in-law, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), plotted to use Quinn’s affections to destroy her for once and for all.

It is clear The Bold and the Beautiful’s Ridge had no idea that his game would turn into the real thing with enemies becoming lovers. Quinn fought off the feelings for as long as she could, but couldn’t forget how the younger Forrester made her feel; as result of Ridge’s game, he lost the woman he felt was his one true love, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and turned the once sweet Katie Logan (Heather Tom) into a raging psychopath.
B&B’s Eric has been nothing but kind and accepting of Quinn, in spite of her checkered past. He offers her stability and a peaceful future; he chose to look beyond the bad exterior and love what was inside of her. He pushed his family away believing he was happy about finally finding true love again after his beloved Stephanie (Susan Flannery) passed away in 2012. How do you think he is going to react when he learns of her infidelity with his own son?
Ridge, on the other hand, promises excitement and spontaneity in her life; to always expect the unexpected. He is driven and determined but his past shows that he quickly gets bored of a new “toy” and will move on to the next new thing or person as soon as he has a chance.
