‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ POLL: What Was Your Least Favourite B&B Storyline In 2016? VOTE!

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) has had an interesting year, but some of the stories that stick in our head are not remembered in a good way and other stories are so repetitive that fans are just bored.

B&B’s Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been bouncing between two men who absolutely hate each other – Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). It looked for a while like Brooke was enjoying the single life, but when she saw her chance, she pounced back into bed with her sister, Katie’s (Heather Tom) husband Bill; when their marriage came to a screeching halt, Brooke was all too willing to comfort Bill over her sister.

Brooke ended things quickly with Bill when her son with Ridge, RJ (Anthony Turpel) came back to Los Angeles and begged his parents to reconcile. Brooke gave in and came back home to Ridge, who proposed over the Christmas holidays. It looks like Brooke may be settling down with Ridge, but fans know, when it comes to men, Brooke is never one to completely settle, one way or the other!

When The Bold and the Beautiful’s Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) got together with Ridge, many people were wagging their tongues. It was quite shocking to see her go from Thomas Forrester (Jacob Young) to Ridge; but many accepted it over time. After a fight with Ridge, Caroline got pregnant when her and Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode) spent a drunken night together; even suggesting Thomas took advantage of her.

Along came baby Douglas, and the ridiculous notion that Ridge could pretend to be his father and never tell Thomas the truth. Caroline left town to spend time with her mothers and Douglas; when she returned she instantly wanted to make them a family, the next thing we know, Caroline and Thomas are going out on their first official date as a couple, then Caroline magically disappears, no explanations or mention of her recently.

Most B&B fans had come to terms with the Forrester Patriarch, Eric Forrester (John McCook) being solo for the rest of his life so when Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) ended up being his new love, it caused quite a stir. Quinn and Eric may seem like an odd couple, but they really compliment each other. It appears she has turned over a new leaf, but everyone close to them is determined to break her down. Katie Logan is gathering evidence against Quinn and it looks like they are pushing for her to be more than friends with Eric, do we really need to see another Logan sister get involved with him?

What about when Quinn held Liam captive, pretending to be his wife, Eve. Quinn appears to be a total psychopath, willing to do anything for her son. This story might have been the most ridiculous one B&B ever had.

What is even more puzzling is how Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was willing to go along with it. Deacon and Quinn had a demented relationship, but they worked; it is still confusing how they ended their marriage off-screen.
