The Bold and the Beautiful News: Susan Flannery Reveals Whether She Will Return To B&B As Stephanie Forrester

“The Bold and the Beautiful” alum Susan Flannery made an announcement that she is considering coming out of retirement, but unfortunately it’s sad news for those who enjoyed her on the CBS soap.  Flannery mad eit very clear she had no intentions of returning to B&B.

Susan Flannery played the part of the Matriarch Stephanie Forrester. After 25 years she decided to leave the show and her character was killed off by cancer. It was a very touching storyline she played and hit close to home with a lot of B&B fans.

We were all so saddened when she went off the show and fans have expressed just how much they would like to see her come back as Stephanie Forrester. In the Daytime soap business it’s always possible that a character may pop back up from the dead, but in this case it does not look good.

Susan Flannery recently revealed that while her daughter, Blaise, and grandchild will appear as extras on B&B (in scenes shot on the shows trip to Australia), she, herself, remains committed to staying off camera. She added for the right part, she’d act again, just not in daytime.

Susan Flannery left the show in 2012 and says she is very happy with her decision to leave. She has no regrets. As much as we would all love to have her back, we must respect her decision. Daytime television became a bit much for her. She also revealed “If you’re two beats off in a scene and you need to do it over again, there is simply no time. You have to settle for less than your best.”

So it’s very understandable why she chose to leave. Susan Flannery played a very awesome part as Stephanie over the years and we all feel in love with her.
