The Bold and the Beautiful’s (BB) Alum Jennifer Finnigan just shared some exciting news with her fans. Soap Opera Spy is thrilled to report that former “Bold and the Beautiful” actress Jennifer Finnigan, who played the role of Bridget Forrester, is now expecting her first child with her current husband, actor Jonathan.

Jennifer Finnigan shared her big news first with People Magazine when she announced that she and her husband were expecting their first child together. She accounted during the interview that, “After 13 years together, we are beyond excited to start this new chapter of our lives. We can’t wait to be parents!”
Finnigan shared with People that they were first introduced to one another by a “Friends” star Matthew Perry during a barbecue cook out back in 2004. The couple finally wed in 2007 and recently celebrated their tenth anniversary and now they have one more thing to celebrate this year as well.
As many will recall, on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Finnigan was one of numerous actresses to play the part of Bridget Forrester, the second child of Forester Creations CEO industrialist Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Finnigan appeared in the role from 2000 until 2004.

During that time on the soap opera, Finnigan won several Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. After she exited from “The Bold and the Beautiful”, the role was taken over by Ashley Jones, who remains to play the part on a recurring basis.
