‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ News: B&B Cast Heads To Australia To Film Several Episodes

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ cast and crew will celebrate the daytime drama’s 30th anniversary with a week long shoot in Australia. Katherine Kelly Lang [Brooke Logan] shared the news with ‘B&B’ fans via social media.

“Celebrating the big news! @BandB_CBS is shooting episodes in Australia!! Yay!! @boldinsider @Studio10au,” Katherine tweeted. The news was accompanied by a photo of Katherine and Rena Sofer [Quinn Fuller Forrester] on the set of ‘B&B.’ Rena and Katherine are holding mini Aussie flags.

Angela Bishop of Australian talk show ‘Big Ten’ interviewed a few ‘B&B’ cast members when the news broke. Katherine, along with a few other cast members, made the announcement, “We are on our way to Australia! We’re not exactly sure what the story is here yet.”

Soap Opera Digest reports that filming multiple episodes in Australia is set for February 12 through February 17. “This will be an epic celebration for our fans around the world, executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell promises. The showrunner believes this will be the “most glamourous location shoot in soap opera history.”

CBS will collaborate with Qantas and Network TEN and promises ‘B&B’ viewers plenty of style and romance. Get ready for unbelievable twists and turns, death-defying stunts and some major cliffhangers.

Network TEN has been home to ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ since its premiere episode on November 23, 1987. This won’t be the first time the soap opera celebrates a milestone anniversary – for its 20th anniversary in 2007 ‘B&B’ went on location in Australia.

Along with Katherine Kelly Lange and Rena Sofer, the actors expected to travel down under for filming include Thorsten Kaye [Ridge Forrester], John McCook [Eric Forrester], Jacqueline MacInnes Wood [Steffy Forrester], Scott Clifton [Liam Spencer] and Don Diamont [Bill Spencer].

Aussie born Ashleigh Brewer [Ivy Forrester] will make an appearance. She will be joined by a number of Australian celebrities who will be featured in episodes.

Can Bradley Bell deliver on the promise of that the scenes filmed in Australia will be the most glamourous location in soap opera history? In 2016 ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ went on location in Monte Carlo and delivered breathtaking scenes shot around the beautiful city in Monaco. That may be tough to beat.
