The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) POLL: Do You Like The New Thorne Forrester?

The Bold and the Beautiful has a new face in town for a familiar name. German-born actor Ingo Rademacher has made his debut as the new Thorne Forrester, replacing actor Winsor Harmon, who was let go from the series earlier this year.

Reports indicated last month that The Bold and the Beautiful producers cast Hawaii Five-O star Ingo as the new Thorne Forrester. It was an awkward situation to say the least, as the news came as a surprise to both Winsor and Ingo. Harmon didn’t have an official contract with The Bold and the Beautiful for several years. He had appeared sporadically in a few episodes, the last one being Quinn and Eric’s wedding. That’s how viewers knew that it would only be a matter of time before he would be replaced with a new face.

Ingo said that he was surprised to find out that he would be the new Thorne Forrester, mostly because he and Winsor have been good friends for so many years. He didn’t want to feel like he was taking Thorne away from him and worse, possibly cause friction in their friendship.

Meanwhile, now that the new Thorne is back, he is setting his sights on taking back the family company along with Brooke Logan, who is currently romancing Thorne’s brother Ridge. It will only be a matter of time before Thorne and Ridge will face off in what many people think will be a bitter battle between the two brothers.
