Soap Talent Manager Michael Einfeld Shuts Down Los Angeles Offices

Soap Talent Manager Michael Einfeld Shuts Down Los Angeles OfficesWell this doesn’t surprise anyone. New reports indicate that soap talent manager Michael Einfeld has shut down his Los Angeles offices. Michael is the disgraced Hollywood manager who sent an inappropriate email to one of his former female assistants after she asked him for a day off so she can attend the “A Day Without a Woman” walkout.

Reports say Michael Einfeld recently told his four staff members that they would be let go. He allegedly received death threats and nasty social media responses over his letter to his assistant, Rosette Lauren. She said the reason why she went public with her letter is because Michael refused to cooperate with her and her lawyers on a compensation package after she left her position. She cited an unhealthy work environment as her reason for quitting.

A source close to the situation told The Wrap, “At least one casting director from a major broadcast network informed ME Management clients that she would not submit them for auditions if they maintained Einfeld as a rep.”

Some of his biggest clients included “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Heather Tom (Katie Logan) and Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter), “The Young and the Restless’” Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), actors Eden Riegel (ex-Bianca Montgomery, “All My Children”), Lee Meriwether (ex-Ruth Martin, “AMC”), Juliet Mills (ex-Tabitha Lenox, “Passions) and Dan Gauthier (ex-Kevin Buchanan, “One Life to Live”).

He did though send an apology to his staff members that said, “First let me say without reservation – I am sorry. I used language that was tasteless, humorless and completely inexcusable. I believe deeply in workplace diversity regardless of race, gender, creed or sexual orientation, and I am mortified that the things I have said have worked against my commitment to inclusion.”
