DAYS OF OUR LIVES
NBC’s DOOL dominated the ratings in total viewership, raising by 53,000 from the previous week, leaving the NBC soap opera with 2,257,000. It also gained 23,000 viewers in women between the ages of 18-49. It isn’t hard to believe how the ratings jumped this week as DOOL fans watched as loved ones found Will (Chandler Massey) alive, even though he believes he is his deceased step-father, thanks to the deranged Susan Banks (Eileen Davidson). Viewers also watches as a devastated JJ (Casey Moss) realized he shot Theo (Kyler Pettis). Many exciting stories are unfolding in Salem these days, and it is no wonder the ratings are jumping!
GENERAL HOSPITAL
ABC’s GH rose by 16,000 in total viewership, leaving the ABC soap opera at 2,722,000. Women viewers aged 18-49 group also went up, gaining 12,000 compared to last week. The struggle continues between the twin brothers, Andrew and Jason, as neither man knows who they really are. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) admits to his wife, Nina (Michelle Stafford) what is really going on between him and Cassandra (Jessica Tuck). Mystery man Peter August (Wes Ramsey) makes his first appearance in Port Charles, as he meets with current Jason Morgan (Billy Miller), who offers him the job as COO at Aurora Media. Lulu (Emme Rylan) causes Maxie (Kirsten Storms) to worry that she might be pregnant, after she continues to be nauseous and vomit. Things continue to heat up in Port Charles as the revelation of the twin mapping and who the men really are is about to come out.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
CBS’ B&B took a massive hit in total viewership, when it drastically dropped by 155,000 from the previous week, standing at 3,545,000; and lost 9,000 viewers among women 18-49. Could it be that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) falls back into bed with her father-in-law Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) that bothered fans, or maybe that Liam (Scott Clifton) is continually paying more attention to Sally (Courtney Hope) and gifting her, than worrying about his marriage; but something has turned viewers off this week. Wyatt (Darin Brooks_ and Katie (Heather Tom) continue to heat up their sex life while Eric (John McCook) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) still consider Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) to be a major threat. Will B&B be able to pick up the ratings next week?
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
CBS’ Y&R also took a major loss this week in total viewership as their ratings dropped by 67,000, leaving their total at 4,549,000. The CBS soap opera also lost 8,000 viewers among women 18-49. This was the week that Scott (Daniel Hall) taken as well as Abby (Melissa Ordway), who at first appeared to be willing to go with Zach (Ryan Ashton), after accusations flew at a Newman event about his sex trafficking ring. Mortal enemies, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) set their differences aside, temporarily, to find Abby. Cane (Daniel Goddard) finds comfort in Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Jordan’s (Darnell Kirkwood) past is put on display, thanks to Hilary’s big mouth. It seems everyone’s past is catching up with them in Genoa City; will all their misdeeds be forgivable and can they be redeemed?
