Soap Opera Comings And Goings Week Of September 11: Big GH Returns – Shock Bold Exits – DOOL Fan Favorite Back

Who’s coming and going on your favorite soap operas during the week of September 11? Read below to find out the latest casting scoops on The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital, and Days Of Our Lives.

General Hospital

Drew and Derk Cheetwood will return as Milo and Max, Sonny Corthinos (Maurice Benard) bodyguards will appear on and off throughout the fall.

Debra Strang will step into the role of Betsy “Mother of James” Franco as Franco’s adoptive mother. Alla Korot (All My Children, Allie) will appear on GH in an unspecified role. She tweeted to a concerned fan that she only appeared on the soap opera and will not be taking over the role of Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).

Bradford Anderson will return as Damien Spinelli, will return for moral support for Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Billy Miller) Morgan.

Stephen A. Smith will play Brick, Sonny’s trusted surveillance expert.

Robert Palmer Watkins learned that GH doesn’t want to renew his contract which is up in October. The actor could still around on recurring status, or they could decide to recast the role. More about Dillon Quartermaine’s fate should be available in a few weeks.

Steve Burton’s first scenes will air on September 19.

Bold and The Beautiful

Kym Douglas (wife of Y&R’s Jerry Douglas) will appear on B&B in an unspecified role on September 26. Rome Flynn, who plays Zende Dominguez, will exit the CBS soap opera on September 11. Rome Edwards (Nicole Avant) will not exit B&B. The spoilers suggest they will have an emotional goodbye on Monday, September 11.

Pierson Fode exits The Bold and the Beautiful just days after Rome’s departure. Fode’s last air date as Thomas Forrester will be on September 14.

Days Of Our Lives

Lisa Rinna (Billie Reed) will return as Billie in early 2018 in a handful of new episodes. The actress and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star last appeared on DOOL in 2013.

The Young And The Restless

Beth Maitland, who plays Traci Abbott, will appear on October 9. The spoilers suggest that Abbott’s sister returns to help with a Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) situation.

Wayne Knight, who is best known for his role on Seinfeld, will appear on Y&R on September 21. He will play Irv West, a music promoter and share scenes with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Noah Newman (Robert Adamson), Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and Scott Grainger, Jr (Daniel Hall).
