According to Neighbours spoilers, next week will find Terese receiving conflicting news about her health. First she will be told by David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) that a breast tissue biopsy has shown that there are no issues to be concerned about. The relieved woman is happy to hear the good news, but a later a phone call will change her perspective.

Terese’s cousin leads her to have second thoughts about the findings when she tells her that their late grandmother succumbed to breast cancer. Terese has a bad feeling about this information, and a sixth sense tells her that she a second test would be a good idea. When she shares her feelings with David, he agrees.
However, Terese does not tell her loved ones about her decision, and she spends several suspenseful days awaiting the results of the additional testing. Sensitive and emotional, Terese doesn’t want to upset her family with the news that she has gone back to the doctor. But she’s unable to fully handle the stress of not knowing what the future holds, and Terese finds it difficult to hold it together as she awaits the moment of truth.
But after Terese has a second test, Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) delivers the bad news that she does indeed have breast cancer. Emotionally charged photos reveal that Terese is devastated when she receives her diagnosis. The future days won’t be easy for Terese to navigate, especially knowing that her grandmother died from breast cancer.
