Neighbours Spoilers: Sonya’s Drunken Meltdown Has Wild Consequences

On “Neighbours,” Sonya’s hot mess of a life goes public in a big way this week when the drunken lady’s antics put a target on her back. What happens next when the press gets wind of her meltdown and chases the unstable woman down Ramsay Street?

When The Waterhole holds a community event Sonya and Toadie have an unexpected encounter. Their marriage is definitely in trouble but kindhearted Toadie makes it clear to the troubled woman that he only wants what’s best for her. He takes it upon himself to comfort her but gets rejected for his efforts.

She’s clearly in distress when she tells him to back off and mind his own business, so what choice does the poor man have? In response to her callousness Toadie tells Sonya that she shouldn’t be with Nell while she’s in this condition.

Instead of cleaning herself up, Sonya decides to down a few more drinks, placing her in a vulnerable position. The colorfully dressed woman gets up on the furniture and proclaims that she has an announcement to make!

Steph comes to the rescue and tries to pull her back down to earth, but Sonya won’s stop running her mouth. What she has to say shocks everyone in the room!

Too bad for Sonya, her crazy scene is caught on camera and the next day she makes headlines for all the wrong reasons. Before Susan is able to stop the determined reporter, Sonya’s been captured in all her drunken glory. Could the unflattering footage endanger her job as mayor?

Sonya’s behavior makes front page news when the local paper, West Waratah Star, jumps at the clickbait. Later a camera crew finds her in the street with Nell cradled in her arms, and they chase after the two.
