Neighbours Spoilers: Sonya And Toadie’s Future Doesn’t Look Too Promising

Wow, talk about a conflict of interest! On Neighbours, Toadie (Ryan Moloney) and Sonya (Eve Morey) Mitchell’s latest love challenge is her old flame, who just happens to be Toadie’s current therapist! Is this even legal? Newcomer Sam Feldman (Alex Tsitsopoulos) is set to provoke a tipping point in the see-saw marriage, and they won’t even see it coming.

Next week Sonya will be shocked to see her old squeeze talking up Sheila Canning (Colette Mann) at the nursery. The tall, dark, and handsome man needs a few plants for his new office, of course! Next thing you know Sonya is gazing at an old pic of the two together, in younger days. Eventually the lovelorn lady admits to Steph Scully (Carla Bonner) that she and Sam might have been a thing if it weren’t for bad timing.

Meanwhile, Sam will set about helping Toadie to come to terms with his complicated life. Among the topics is the death of Dee Bliss, his first wife. This summer Toadie was confronted by a blast from the past when Dee’s daughter came to town and upended the Rebecchis’ already troubled life.

The sessions will prove to be helpful to Toadie, but all the while he has no idea who he’s dealing with. Awkward! Viewers should not expect this Ramsay Street drama to go away any time soon. Soap execs have made it clear that Sonya and Toadie are a long way from a happy reunion. And hunky Sam the Therapist will figure prominently in their future turmoil.

According to Digital Spy, show boss Jason Herbison has spilled a few saucy details of what the future holds for the embattled couple. “They are on a very slow road to reconciliation trying to work out what’s gone wrong,” he said. “And just when things do appear to be heading in the right direction, a person from Sonya’s past appears and throws a bit of a spanner in the works.” Will these two lovebirds ever catch a break?
