Neighbours Spoilers: Mark Brennan’s Behavior Sparks Concern – Preparing To Steal Paige’s Baby?

On, “Neighbours,” Mark’s been unlucky in love, but is he about to commit a crime just to make himself feel better? How low will the man still grieving for his unborn child sink in order to heal his wounds? If online speculation is correct, Mark will do something so shocking no one could have predicted it!

Twentysomethings Mark (Scott McGregor) and Paige (Olympia Valance) are finding comfort in each other as their lives have spiraled downward.

First, Mark’s relationship with Steph (Carla Bonner) went under. Then Sonya (Eve Moray) became pregnant with his baby and he again had something to look forward to. Unfortunately the unborn child died, and Mark understandably has had a hard time dealing with his loss. Further compounding his sorrow is the fact that he and Sonya have drifted apart.

Paige isn’t in a much better situation as she’s pregnant (which is good), but the father is Father Jack Callahan (which is not so good)! The good Father (who in fact may make a good father!) was suspended after being found out, and now must keep away from Paige.

So you can see why singletons Mark and Paige have taken comfort in each other. But is Mark’s attention as innocent as it seems?  Fans have picked up on a certain vibe from the handsome, grief-stricken man, and it’s not a healthy one!

“Mark will probably end up kidnapping Paige’s baby or something. #Neighbours,” tweeted one viewer, with tons of other fans quickly echoing the sentiment.

“Oh Mark’s totally stealing that baby #Neighbours,” wrote another viewer.

Is Mark capable of baby-stealing, even in his fragile condition? Or will he resort to kidnapping both Paige and her baby? How will the residents of Erinsborough respond if Mark goes off the rails and commits such a shocking crime?
