Neighbours Spoilers: Kirsha Rebecchi Hospitalized After Firework Accident

There is panic for the Rebecchi family next week in Neighbours, spoilers tease Kirsha is rushed to hospital after having been involved in a fireworks accident.

The latest members of the Rebecchi family were introduced to us in April this year, when Toadies’ brother Shane decided to move his family back to Ramsay street. Now living at number 32 and running Harold’s store, the family have cemented themselves in Erinsborough for time to come.

The family, including mother Dipi, aunt Mishti and daughters Yashvi and Kirsha, has already been at the centre of many storylines. These include Shane’s eco-friendly inventions (one of which unappealingly turned urine into drinkable water) and Mishti’s rocky romance with Leo Tanaka. However much of the family drama centres on eldest daughter Yashvi, who, although sometimes has good intentions, is known for making bad decisions.

Having previously caused trouble at school and home for other residents of the street, it is now her very own sister Kirsha, played by 13-year-old Vani Dhir, who will be on the receiving end of Yashvi’s thoughtless actions.

After Ben takes the blame for Yasvhi’s durian muck-up-day prank, she feels she owes him a thank you. She therefore sets out to reunite fan favourites Ben and Xanthe, who split up earlier in the year after Xanthe was manipulated to do so by teacher Finn Kelly. After deciding that the firework display will be the perfect romantic setting, Yashvi’s match-making plan hits a setback when Ben is banned from the display by his grandfather, as a result of his recent expulsion. Resorting to Plan B, Yashvi retrieves the firework that her uncle Toadie confiscated a few months prior, planning her own private display.

Once Yashvi sets the plan in place, she convinces Xanthe to visit Ben in his backyard, in attempt to rekindle their romance. However, before Xanthe is able to tell Ben how she feels, young Kirsha accidentally throws her sparkler on Yashvi’s fireworks. This results in the firework exploding, leaving Kirsha injured.

After being rushed to hospital, David confirms that most injuries are superficial apart from damage to her hearing, which remains a cause for concern.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Yashvi has been in trouble for illegally misusing fireworks. Will she confess this time? Will Kirsha’s hearing repair? Tune in next week to see it all unfold!
