Neighbours Spoilers: Gabe’s Kidnapper Revealed!

Neighbours has been off air for about a week now, but viewers are still reeling from the gripping season finale!

Although the last Neighbours episode of 2017 featured many storylines, perhaps the most shocking was the kidnapping of baby Gabe.

After worrying that Gabe was unwell on Christmas day, Paige took her son to the local medical centre. While she was getting out the car, Gabe’s pram rolled off and was about to be hit by a reversing car. Thankfully, Paige realised just in time and ran quickly enough to pull the pram out of the way.

However, things went from bad to worse when she realised that Gabe had been taken from his pram. Cut to Paige’s car being driven away at speed (she had dropped her keys when running after the pram), and it soon became obvious that Gabe had been abducted. But who would do such a thing?

There are many theories as to the identity of Gabe’s kidnapper on Neighbours, including Andrea – who surprisingly popped up in the episode – in attempt to seek revenge after her plans didn’t go as hoped. Other suggestions include Simone, Jack’s ex-girlfriend who once hated Paige for her relationship with Jack.

However, Neighbours spoilers reveal that it is in fact Louise McLeod who abducted Gabe on Christmas day. In scenes that air in the shows first week back of 2018, Mark gets a phone call concerning Gabe. On the line is Louise, who is holding the baby for ransom and has certain demands for Mark.

Neighbours spoilers tease despite Jack not wanting Mark to do so, he agrees to Louise’s demand for money and a passport to leave the country. After Hamish’s plan not working as planned, she is still in need of a lot of money. However, when Mark turns up to give her what she asked for, Gabe is nowhere to be seen. Putting his detective skills into practice, he presses Louise for answers but the police turn up and cut him off.

This makes the tension between Mark and Jack worse, as it is obvious he called the police and therefore stopped Mark from being able to find out Gabe’s location. However, over on the boat Toadie and Sonya discover some interesting information which leads Mark to an apartment where Gabe is being held.

Nevertheless, once Mark gets there, hope turns to despair. What will happen to Gabe – will he ever be reunited with his family or is Neighbours starting 2018 on a dark note?
