There’s a very good chance that Hollywood actress Meghan Markle might make history by being the first soap actress to join the British royal family. The brunette beauty recently admitted to Vanity Fair magazine that she and her boyfriend of one year Prince Harry are madly in love. In fact, she also hinted that the couple are definitely looking to take the next step in their relationship.
While Meghan is best known for her role as sexy paralegal Rachel Zane on the hit USA legal drama Suits, she actually got her start on daytime television. Even though she started her career as a model and a “briefcase” girl on the hit NBC game show Deal or No Deal, Meghan’s first professional acting job was on the ABC soap General Hospital back in 2002. She then went on to play guest parts on shoes such as CSI: NY, 90210, Knight Rider, Fringe, and Without a Trace.
These days a lot of fans believe that Meghan might possibly quit her Hollywood career altogether the moment she marries Prince Harry. And while no one knows what the future hold just yet, it’s safe to say that if Meghan does join the British royal family, she’ll be the first soap actress to do so! After all, plenty of actresses have managed to kick-start their careers thanks to their daytime television beginnings!
