Jessie Wallace Teases Kat Moon’s Fate in Eastenders Spinoff Redwater

Jessie Wallace is looking for answers to the same burning questions that her fans have had ever since her character, Kat Moon, disappeared during Redwater’s cliffhanger last season. The former EastEnders star has opened up about her character Kat and whether or not she thinks she’s alive or dead.

In an interview with Britain’s This Morning, Jessie said that she had no idea what happened to Kat. Her character was in a devastating accident at sea during the closing moments of the show. Redwater also starred Shane Richie as Kat’s husband Alfie Moon.

When asked if she would return to EastEnders, Jessie said that it all depends on whether or not Kat is dead of alive. She told host Eamonn Holmes, “Do you know what, I don’t know if I’m dead or not! I’ve got no idea!”

And while Jessie says that she would love to return to EastEnders, she also thinks that Kat’s death might be announced by her on-screen cousin, Stacy. Of course, fans will just have to tune in to find out. Either way, Kat’s return to EastEnders would definitely be the biggest television comeback of the year.
