Is Olympia Valance Leaving Neighbours?

It looks like this Neighbours fan favorite is leaving the popular television drama series because she has her sights set on Hollywood. There are new report that indicate Australian actress Olympia Valance might be trying to quietly leave the show because she wants to make her big break in Hollywood instead.

According to Britain’s Daily Star, Olympia recently signed on with the same management agency that reps Chris and Liam Hemsworth in Los Angeles. Fans know Olympia best as Paige Smith on the hit Australian soap series. She’s been on the show since 2014.

So does this mean that Olympia is trying to be the next Margot Robbie? Possibly so! Margot herself played Donna Freedman on Neighbours from 2008 until 2011. She then managed to carve a name for herself in the entertainment world with huge blockbuster hits like The Wolf of Wall Street and Suicide Squad.

In fact, Olympia herself loves being compared to Margot. She told the Herald Sun in an interview, “It really excites me. As an Aussie, I’ve loved watching the country get behind Margot and cheering her on as she found incredible success overseas. As a young Australian actor myself, what she is achieving is everything I could hope for, and more.”

So far Olympia herself hasn’t made any comments about her Hollywood dreams although for fans, it wouldn’t be surprising if they saw less and less of her on the small screen.
