Home and Away Star Tessa James Announces Pregnancy After Cancer Battle

Home and Away star Tessa James has some very exciting news to share with her fans! The soap opera actress has announced that she is pregnant. Tessa confirmed the news through her agent and is believed to be in her second trimester already. The blonde beauty was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma three years ago but is now in remission following her treatment.

This will be the first child for Tessa and her husband, Nate Myles, a professional rugby player. The couple has been married since 2011. It was in 2014 when Tessa was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The soap opera actress left Sydney and returned home to Gold Coast, Queensland to be with her husband and receive treatment. That same year, Tessa’s father also found out that he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, too.

Tessa first joined the cast of Home and Away back in 2008 as Nicole Franklin. In 2015 she made an appearance on the Australian television drama Love Child and also had a small role in the feature film Spin Out. In addition, she’s also appeared in the Australian comedy You’re Gonna Miss Me.
