Home And Away Spoilers: How Will Kat Chapman Die?

It’s been confirmed that Home and Away actress Pia Miller will exit the Australian soap early next year. Her final scenes have been filmed, and her exit story will be heartbreaking for fans as well as her onscreen partner Ash (George Mason).

Rumors were circulating about policewoman Kat Chapman’s departure and now that the filming is in the can, we can report that the news is true.

According to reports, beautiful and vivacious Kat will meet an early demise in a tragic car crash. The character will be run of the roadway, possibly in a plot involving her police work.

According to the Metro, close to 15 hours were devoted to shooting the story, including a funeral filmed in Sydney.

Unfortunately, it is a double funeral. In an outside scene, a solemn Ash appears to be carrying a tiny, white, infant casket.

Apparently Kat was expecting prior to her death, a fact no one knew. Recently Ash and Kat have gone back and forth over the issue of having kids, so her pregnancy will be a heartbreaking revelation.

Expect Ash to be heavily traumatized by this turn of events, having lost both Kat and their unborn baby. At this time he is the guardian to his deceased sister’s daughter, and as a parent he is a natural. He would have made a terrific father to his unborn baby.

Miller debuted on the hit Aussie show in 2015. She was featured in several prominent storylines involving the police and criminal investigation. Most notably she has been a key player in Brody’s (Jackson Heywood) ongoing criminal conduct, and downward slide into drug addiction.

The dedicated policewoman will also play a role in Hunter’s (Scott Lee) forthcoming police interrogation due to his past criminal activity.
