Hollyoaks Spoilers: Hollyoaks Headed To Ibiza For Summer Storyline

“Hollyoaks,” fans can look forward to a stunning change of scenery this summer when the soap goes on location to sunny Ibiza. The popular sudser begins filming scenes on the party isle starting next month.

The Ibiza episodes are set to air during the youth-oriented soap’s annual Six Weeks of Summer timeframe. Many of the most intriguing characters will set sail for the white-sand island, including the Cunninghams.

Both Holly (Amanda Clapham) and Tom (Ellis Hollins) venture off on a well-deserved vacation, as does Ellie Nightingale (Sophie Porley). What are the chances that some intense drama will accompany the trio? Viewers know that Ellie especially could use a bit of downtime right about now. She’s been front and center with a sexual consent plotline that includes Holly’s boyfriend Nick Savage.

During fresher’s week, Nick had sex with Ellie even though she was not able to give her consent.

Conflicted and upset, Ellie decided not to say anything about the situation at first, but she recently chose to reveal her anguish to her loved ones who then supported her in telling the police about what happened.

Unfortunately, the charges against Nick were dropped. But the story doesn’t end there. Ellie’s boyfriend
Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham) is not at all happy about Nick’s ticket to freedom and plays a part in seeing that justice is done.

Fans were dismayed to learn of Clapham’s departure in a message broadcast in the show’s credits. The handsome fan favorite started on the youthful soap for four short years. During that time the bad boy played an outright scoundrel.
