Hollyoaks Boss Teases Shocking Autumn Spoilers: Murder Mystery, Deadly Explosion, Star-Crossed Lovers, And MORE!

In a bombshell interview Hollyoaks producer Bryan Kirkwood revealed some spectacular details regarding the show’s current plots, and teased some frankly unbelievable spoilers for the coming months.

Buckle your seat belts Hollyoaks fans, it’s about to get real!

In an interview with The Metro, Kirkwood lifted the lid on the show’s hottest storylines, starting with the autumn stunt.

The prominent showrunner noted that the annual stunt begins with tons of exciting stories, but ultimately churns out so many more for fans to look forward to.

This year it’s the naughtiness between teacher Neeta (Amrit Maghera) and student Hunter (Theo Graham) that blasts the stunt into orbit.

As a direct result of the affair, Mac Nightingale (David Easter) literally explodes the entire school down around its ears, while an assembly is taking place no less!

Kirkwood promises, “A large amount of our core cast are caught up in it and there will be major consequences to come out of what Mac has done.”  

Then there’s the Who Killed Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) story. The beautiful blonde’s funeral was held way back in April but it wasn’t until this month that the shocking reveal of her killer became known.

The ghastly truth has spun what was a dead story, (not sorry for the pun!) into a compelling plot arc. According to Kirkwood, “There are so many tentacles for this story and so much more to come…”   

Subsequently fans can expect that Killer Ryan Knight’s (Duncan James) scenes going forward promise to be incredibly dark and maybe even a little disturbing.

Kirkwood also spills that Joel (Rory Douglas-Speed) and Cleo (Nadine Mulkerrin) are one of his all-time fave couples, so viewers can look forward to plenty of turbulent times in the future for the star-crossed lovers.

“It’s a relationship that will have obstacles constantly thrown at them for as long as they remain interesting,” he hinted.

Are you intrigued by the upcoming self-harm storyline? Kirkwood acknowledges that it will be a story about, “girls … making some really bad choices,” but also about, “the mums … supporting each other.”

Milo (Nathan Morris) fans can look forward to the, “brilliant antihero,” figuring prominently in several upcoming plots.

And lastly, there will be a dramatic re-do for vixenly schemer Darcy (Aisling Jarrett-Gavin), gasp! “I don’t think the audience will see it coming,” teases Kirkwood.
