Hollyoaks Actress Rachel Adedeji Pregnant With First Child

After weeks of speculation, Hollyoaks actress Rachel Adedeji has finally confirmed the news that she is pregnant with her first child. She and her husband Jason Finnegan shared their happy pregnancy news with their fans. Rachel is currently in her second trimester and expected to give birth in late December.

Many fans first remember Rachel as a contestant on the British competition show, The X Factor in 2009. After reaching the finals of the show, she was offered a part on Hollyoaks as Lisa Loveday. And even though Lisa loves to show off her curves in risqué outfits on the show, Rachel says that the Hollyoaks wardrobe team has done a great job of covering up her growing baby bump in front of the cameras.

According to Britiain’s Metro, she said, “Lisa is a very vibrant character and doesn’t wear many clothes! But the team has been brilliant in allowing new clothes to fit Lisa’s personality. Instead of hot pants and a bra, it’s hot pants and a loose top.”

Rachel also added that she is getting a lot of her pregnancy tips from her fellow co-stars, actress Jennifer Matcalfe.

Rachel explained, “Jen has been amazing – I couldn’t ask for a better friend. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I was like, ‘Jen, what do I do?!’ She’s an amazing mum and seeing her and Greg with Daye is just adorable. We’ve been talking about holidaying together once my baby arrives.”
