General Hospital Steve Burton Reminds Fans GH Storyline Is Fiction – Asks For Soap War To STOP!

Last night Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) on the popular ABC soap took too twitter to demand that people who are bashing Billy Miller and Kelly Monaco stop the Soap War!

Ever since it was announced that Steve Burton was coming back to General Hospital fans have been split about the news.  Many fans have grown to love Billy Miller in the role of Jason Morgan and did not want Steve to come back and take the role away.  While other fans were excited that Steve was going to reprise the role of Jason Morgan.

Soap fans are passionate about their soaps and GH fans are no different.  Consequently, there has been a huge soap war between the General Hospital fans who love Steve as Jason and the other side who love Billy Miller as Jason.

The situation has escalated so badly that two weeks ago a Billy Miller fan took to twitter and went so far as to hope several General Hospital actors all died from Burton Nutrition (a Steve Burton fitness product). She did not stop with her tweets, she tweeted each of the actors.  Other GH fans became outraged and had the tweet taken down by complaining to Twitter.  The fan was never remorseful for her tweets and felt she was justified.

Since this incident, the situation has not stopped and fans are still fighting with each other.  Steve Burton felt he had to weigh in and tweeted the following:

It is shocking how fans are not calming down.  Both Billy Miller and Steve Burton are fabulous actors and General Hospital has a place for both of them.
